Like most infrastructure, this site welcomes improvements. The latest came a few days ago, when our pals at Pressable got us rolling with a new theme. For the first time, we can write in WordPress Gutenberg rather than in the old Classic editor. Since Gutenberg is more writer- and writing-friendly than Classic, this site will see more postings and traffic.
Of special interest to us are infrastructures and industries that are—
- Being born and becoming controversial (e.g. AI data centers)
- Poorly understood while the world becomes utterly dependent on them (e.g. logistics)
- Dying (e.g. over-the-air broadcasting)
Most of the writing here has been on the third topic. Watch for more of the first two.
